Good afternoon SES families. The road conditions have improved significantly since early this morning. Morristown Varsity/JV Basketball and Waldron Varsity/JV Basketball will proceed as scheduled. As a clarification from earlier, today's school day will be made up on 4/15, not 4/8 as previously communicated. We will be in person on Monday (2/21) to make-up a previously cancelled school day. SES will be closed today, Friday February 18th. Road conditions are very poor this morning and won't improve in the next few hours. This day will be made up using our built-in snow day on Friday, April 8th. We will check in by 1 p.m. for a decision about evening activities.
Lady Mohawks win! Regional Chamions! Mohawk fans are invited to Waldron High School for a pep rally to celebrate our regional championship! The pep rally will start at approx. 10:00 p.m. tonight in the main gym. Fans can enter through the front or rear entrance of the school.

SES will operate on a 2-hour delay schedule on Monday, February 7th. We still have many county roads with snow and ice patches and we want to allow for daylight with the morning commute. Drive safely everyone!
Sectional # 60 has been postponed to Saturday night. WHS will be sharing rescheduling details with participating schools. A decision about 5th and 6th grade boys tournament Saturday morning at Morristown will be made later this afternoon.
Due to continuing snow fall and poor traveling conditions, SES is will do elearning tomorrow (Friday, 2/4). All assignments will be posted no later than 10:00 a.m. Students should check their e-mail for updates or reach out to their teachers if they have questions. Important Announcement Regarding Morristown Busing:
Effective Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, adjustments to a number of Morristown bus routes will occur. These adjustments impact Route # 11, Route # 15, Route # 16, and Route # 17. Please read the information below carefully.
Students on Route # 16 (Bus # 16/Bus # 33 – Tyler Riley) will be riding Bus # 17 (Pam Bassett) beginning Tuesday, January 4th, 2022. There will be no stop location changes or stop time changes; however, because the route is being covered by a different School Bus Driver, please be patient for our first week back as they adjust to the route. Have your students ready five (5) minutes prior to their usual stop time.
Students on Route # 17 (Bus # 17 – Pam Bassett) who live NORTH of US 52 will be temporarily moved to Route # 11 (Bus # 11 – Jeff Heck). There will be no stop location changes; however, please have your students ready five (5) minutes prior to their usual stop time as the route may run slightly earlier in the mornings than it did before Winter Break. Stops impacted by this change include:
