We are quickly approaching the end of June already which means that the start of the next school year is not too far off. I wanted to share some information with you about registration, Back-to-school night, senior photos, and the Washington D.C. trip. Please reach out by email if you have questions about any of these events.

✏️🎓 Back-to-school night

  • Monday, August 5th, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm

  • Meet teachers, locate classrooms and lockers, and explore extracurricular activities and clubs.

  • Informational meeting at 5:30 or 6:15 in the cafeteria. This will be the same information offered at 2 different times.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!

📸 Senior Photos

  • Photos for our incoming seniors are scheduled for August 1st from 4-7 pm.

  • No appointment necessary.

  • Seniors should dress well for this photo.

  • If unable to attend, senior photo can be taken during regular school photograph session.

🚌 Washington, DC trip for 8th and 9th grade

  • This trip will be May 6-10, 2025 and is open to 8th and 9th grade students and their parents.

  • The estimated total cost of the trip is $1,147 per student. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend, and the cost for chaperones is slightly higher than the student cost.

  • An initial payment of $100, which is refundable, is required to reserve a place on the trip.

  • The itinerary includes visiting the Flight 93 memorial, Gettysburg, and key Washington D.C. landmarks such as the Capitol Building, White House, and National Holocaust Museum.

  • A detailed meeting will be held in August to go over the itinerary and payment schedule.

🍎 Registration and Schedules

  • Registration is now available online. Directions are available at this page.

    • In-person registration is July 19th, 1-5 pm.

  • Student schedules will be available on Powerschool by July 15th

    • Parents or students wanting to change their schedule need to email the school counselor, Ms. Swaney (sswaney@ses.k12.in.us) in order to make that request.

    • If you would like to meet with Ms. Swaney to discuss options, please email her to set up an appointment. She will be available for those meetings July 29th - august 1st, 8:30-2:30.
